iamwookie Private Server Dec 19 2007 :: 01:39:07

Furry One

There is a lot of good games to host out there
we have been offered space on a private server as long as it doesn't use a overly massive amount of resources
Post your thoughts as to what you would like to see
KO and PT are out of the question

You can find a small list of available server files at ragezone http://forum.ragezone.com/f168/

Furry One

For all those that want to flame each other out there along time ago we made a section just for that its called the Crack Shack
Go use it

We don't need the arguments and flaming right now
Cooperation is helpful

Want to get a hold of the staff with ideas etc?
Most of us are on irc all the time leave a message and when we are around we will answer it
Most of the upper staff have regular jobs and work at least 8hr/day so sometimes you might have to wait a bit for your answer.

Don't wanna use irc or don't like it?
Most of us got msn addresses as well or AIM

So lets do everyone a favor and stop pointing those stupid fingers and get back to what needs to be done.

About
------------------------------
To regulate all of the members there are several gaming sections which can be used to post general discussion of games. If you want to actually find or post hacks you should have a look at our little hacking category. There are several private servers runned or operated by our members and staff, these have their own sections. Check them out and see if you find something of interest, and you can game along with your fellow hackers.
Posting enough outside of the general gaming forums will grant you a dedicated status, meaning you got access to our hidden sections. And if we recognize you as being a true hacker you can receive a promotion to become a underground member. Underground members have their own lounge where they can share hacking information and possibly releases.

Promotion
------------------------------
If you post outside of the gaming sections and manage to get to 100 posts you will be auto promoted to Dedicated. You will have access to some of our shady area's then.

Violation of the following rules may result in a warning, suspension, or a permanent ban. These rules apply to the whole forum, other rules which may apply to specific sections of the forum will be posted in that section (Such as the requesting of 'Hacks' is prohibited in parts of this forum). The severity of the punishment will be relative to the rule you broke and the number of occurrences. Note the rules are not posted in order of significance.

1. Advertisement: It is not allowed to post links to any site which isn't affiliated to FGNetwork, unless permission is granted by an administrator.
2. Flaming: Please do not post obscene, or otherwise hurtful comments to other members.
3. Impersonating: Impersonating a staff member in any way is not allowed, if you see something wrong report it to us.
4. Obscenity: Do not post vulgar, or other harmful content.
5. Scamming: Posting key loggers, virus's, trojans, etc is an instant permanent ban.

7. Spamming: Only post on topic and relevant posts.
8. Warez: Posting 'warez' outside of the designated section is not allowed.

The rules are subject to change whenever we feel the need for it, please check back every once in a while.

The implementation of these will make this community better for everyone. If anyone thinks there should be changes to any of these rules, please let me know about it. Please do not post garbage here, post only if you have something to add onto the rules, thanks.

Stork Underground Information Dec 22 2006 :: 18:54:54

The UG is not a place just to hide leet hacks and exploits from general members. It is a development forum for those vary things. The long term goal of the UG is to understand and develop hacks / exploits and pass the knowledge along. With the new version of FG we will modify the previous structure of the UG. We will abandon any distinction between programmers and exploiters and move toward a level system. It's only logical to group similar skills for projects.

Expectations of an Underground Member
The expectations are simple. In short, an underground member is expected to participate on new underground applications, work with other underground members on various projects, and teach other members - both underground and general membership. Below is cut and paste from a pinned topic in the UG about expectations.

1) Read, comment and vote on all UG applications. UG members have a say as to who can and cannot get UG access. You are expected to voice your opinion, after all, it's your information you're guarding. Your say and vote is taken into consideration - treat it with some respect.

2) Underground members are expected to work on projects. Each member is expected to declare commitment to a project and contribute to it. Project leaders will feed information back to me on how its running, who is contributing, and in what capacity.

3) Teaching. You are expected to post tutorials and examples both to the general UG forum and the game forum you frequent most. There are lots of people on this board that want to learn but don't know where to start. We're not asking to unveil anything we do in the UG, but I think FG can use plenty more examples on how to game hack or just general programing examples to the programming sections.

Applying to the Underground
Requirements: Trust, brains, and social status.

To get underground status you need to apply. You can apply be sending me (Stork) and email. There have been several questions over the years on what an application should look like. First you should know we are moving to more programming so the application should have a programming slant to it. That's not to say bug / exploits will no longer get up UG access but it will take several good exploits that are not "common" knowledge. Source code should be made available when possible. It helps validate it's your program and gives us a basis to evaluate your skill level. But the code and your skill level is not the main factor to determines UG access, it's only a portion. Below are some other criteria in deciding underground access.

The first is trust. If we can't trust you to keep the information safe, you'll never get UG access. How do you gain trust? A small part is the type of information you share with us, it shows your level of trust in us which is a reflection of you. The best way to gain trust is to interact with UG and staff members. Non-spam dialog with UG / staff members on hacking topics are always a good way. IRC is another. They are the ones voting on you! If they don't know you, how can they trust you.

The second biggest factor is effort. How much effort did YOU put into the hack. It's not a 1 and done deal. We want to see people that are willing to put the effort into applying something. As an UG member you're expected to validate other applications and work on projects within the UG. If your application does not reflect this, then you'll not gain UG access.

An important one is forum conduct. It doesn't count as strong as the others but it does count. If you prove to be someone helpful to staff and other members and someone who doesn't post a lot of spam then it helps. The UG is about teams working on projects, if it looks like you cant get along with anyone then that's not going to help the UG.

Posts are accumulative. Posts will little detail and effort will be ignored and considered a black mark for future applications. Good posts with effort that are not accepted will be considered and factored in on all subsequent posts.

About

After being hosting for a year on a friend's servers for a minimum price it was time to move on after the ddos attack on his server and our site.
The old forum will be setup in an offline viewable only mode as soon as we can get it from the old host. All old account and permissions will be in effect for it.
This is a chance for a fresh start we have done this before it and normally it works great.
